Computer Forensic Investigation: Demonstration
Date: 19th November 2009
Venue: Newport University. Allt-yr-yn.
Gary Probert,the Manager of Gwent's High Tech Crime Unit will introduce his Unit and explain how they assist in tackling cyber-crime in Wales.
Gary through the use of special software will demonstrate how an investigator can forensically acquire data and investigate/analyse digital evidence that are left behind after a cyber-crime.

AGM
The slides of the AGM are available by following the link above and I will be updating the website as soon as possible to reflect the changes in the committee and reflect the remainder of the event programme. Rosemary Dale, of the Open University in Wales was elected alongside the existing committee members by a vote taken at the AGM. Several awards were made at the AGM the details and photographs will be added to the website. Lastly the results of the South Wales area member survey were presented. More details and analysis of what this means to the future events programme will be added to the site shortly.
The website will be updated with more information from the AGM as the information is collected.
