Member Mailings
The Branch Committee has decided to use eMail and the Branch web site for
the majority of its communications with members. Twice each year the
chairman's letter to members and programme information are send out on paper
for
those members who prefer postal communications (about 35%).
We use the eMail distribution services provided by BCS Connect (the
list server) to send out the majority of member communications. These
will include monthly reminders about the evening events a couple of
weeks in advance. eMail messages will be small with links to large
documents kept on the Branch Web site.
We will not use BCS Connect for communications that are unrelated
to the BCS or the Branch.
Branch members should ensure that BCS HQ has up to date contact details
including both postal and eMail addresses.
