| Description |
Staring at the computer monitor
all day is a part of many people's life but this can be difficult
for those with sight loss - or impossible for blind people. Yet
the computer has actually been a great enabler for people with
disabilities. The speaker will describe and demonstrate how this
is achieved. The talk will be of general interest to all but
especially to those who provide computer facilities within organisations
or to the general public. Be prepared for the day when one of
the 2 million people in the UK with sight loss needs to access
your computer systems! |
