Description

Have you ever thought about starting your own technology company?

The dot com days are over and the reality of starting a technology company has never been tougher. Steve Wood, co-founder of Informavores, will be talking about his experiences of getting a software business up and running. Warts and all, Steve will recount the highs and lows of turning his idea into a business. This event will be packed with useful insights and real-life experience from the perspective of a technologist.

Steve Wood co-founded Informavores in 2002 and has subsequently won the Technium Challenge for Wales 2004, been case-studied by Sun Microsystems and interviewed for the Western Mail and Financial Times. Informavores' clients include Vodafone and a number of multi-national organisations.
