Jack Clark (McAfee)

Date:       25 May, Wednesday
Time:       7.00 pm, (Following AGM)
Venue:       Cardiff University, Trevithick Building, The Parade (off Newport Road), Cardiff

The e-world is a thoroughly nasty place at present, as spammers, spies, and identity thieves deploy ever more sophisticated channels of attack.

Jack Clark a 10 year veteran of Internet Security will provide an informative and insightful look at the safety of online computing. For the last 2 years his efforts have been concentrated on protecting home users using innovative internet based subscription software which provides not only the traditional Antivirus but also Firewall, Antispam, Antispyware and Privacy services. During the talk we will discuss past, current and future threats and techniques used by Malware authors and how to avoid them.

All are welcome to attend - admission is free.
